McKenna Gale Capital is a leading Canadian independent provider of mid-market mezzanine debt and
common equity financing. Founded in 1995, we have raised three funds with a total
of $600 million of committed capital provided by many of Canada's prominent institutional
investors.
Our founders, Kevin McKenna and Bob Gale have worked successfully together for
more than 20 years. They also managed the first institutional fund in Canada
to invest in mid-market subordinated debt and equity.
Our investment team consists of eight investment professionals, each one with
unique skills and experiences and a common commitment to assist our portfolio
companies to achieve success.
As a growing entrepreneurial organization, we are independent of any one financial
institution and are focused entirely on providing capital. As such, we avoid
potential conflicts of interest.

There is no typical McKenna Gale investment. In fact, our portfolio is diverse
in size and spans a wide range of industries. For example, we have investments
that range from leading a financing syndication for the privatization
of a TSE listed manufacturer of electronic products to a debt and equity investment
in a smaller manufacturing concern in partnership with a group of entrepreneurs.
